Wolfcraft is a family-owned business located in Germany, best known for manufacturing and supplying machinery accessories and hand tools for hardware shops.
Robert Wolff is a founder of the company and in 1949, as a trained toolmaker and technical draftsman started production of the drill bits, saws and files to fulfil the growing demand for the DIY industry. Now Wolfcraft brand is considered an international company and managed by the second generation of the Wolff family.

When the company was founded in 1949, Robert Wolff was looking for a name that shouldn’t be too similar to German of the tension that existed shortly after World War II. Word handicraft was used from the English dictionary as it means a product that is made by hand rather than by using a machine and this word was close for what they have been producing. By slightly varied surname Wolff and word handicraft, Robert Wolff come up with the name Wolfcraft.
